Frances aka Frenchy
“una joven of today”
What She Likes
“I like to hang out with my friends and family. We all go to the movies or have a movie day at one of our houses, usually mine. I enjoy Saturday nights with my mom. We do simple things. I like to sleep a lot! At school, schoolwork comes first, and then comes play. My favorite class would have to be Mathematics, but my favorite teacher this year is none, since I like them all equally.”
Discriminating, Judging and Criticizing…Oh My!
“People should not discriminate, judge or criticize. It is something very hurtful; something you wouldn’t like done to you. Just because that person isn’t like everybody else doesn’t give you the right to judge them.
In my situation, people at my school labeled me as a lesbian whore and I am not. I am heterosexual (straight) and definitely not a whore! Not that I’m against them, I’m just not one of them. My best friends and I hold hands because we think of ourselves as sisters. You know, like little sisters that always stick together, well, we’re just like that! We continue to hold hands because we don’t care what others say. People who talk crap are not worth my time. People who matter wouldn’t pay attention to this. As for the whore part, it is now that I have a boyfriend in school, so I don’t understand where this came from. I’ve never made out with random guys nor have I slept with them. People I get along with know that I don’t hook-up this way. I don’t do stuff like that! I wouldn’t do it…plain and simple.
When I’m at school, it is to do school work. I appreciate people who take their time to get to know me. At the end of everything, don’t judge a book by its cover!”
